Confessions of a Scatterbrained Visionary: My ADHD Entrepreneurial Newsletter Journey Begins!
Welcome to the very first edition of The ADHD Enterpreneur! You are witnessing a minor miracle (Think Jesus turning the water into “sparkling water” instead of wine. Not as amazing, but still pretty neat.)
It’s a minor miracle because this newsletter is one of 50 “good ideas” that I have had in the last week, but it’s one of the few to actually come to fruition of some sort.
Stability? Never heard of her!- Every ADHD Enterpreneur ever.
Let me tell you a little background. I have always been inclined towards business, partially because I like to make things happen, and partially because I probably suck as an employee. When I was 15, my parents loaned my $3K, and I bought a used screenprinting set up, and the seed was planted. That one t shirt printing business has led to multiple businesses, including restaurants, a security agency, various sales agencies, a laundromat and self serve carwash, (possibly my favorite biz so far) a digital marketing company, and the one venture involving live mealworms, which we won’t mention anymore.
I didn’t know I had ADHD until someone told me. I thought everyone’s mind operated like a hamster that has been experimenting with hard drugs for a little too long. After coming to the realization that I probably did have it, I viewed it as a hurdle, and even a crutch for poor planning and behavior.
It was only after I realized how manage it, and use the quirks in a positive way, that I realized it could be a benefit in my businesses.
The ADHD Enterpreneur Newsletter is a groundbreaking source of information and highly sophisticated humor.
This newsletter is going to explore business ideas, ADHD, and all intertwined topics, using my experience, humor, and current events. I hope you’ll hang in here with me, I’ll be coming to your inbox on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I think you’ll find some good info that can help you start a business, manage your current business, or just understand why your spouse owns 17 books on “How to Make Cheese”, but has never actually made cheese.
Talk to you in a few days, as we explore how to help manage distractions, building the perfect pitch deck to get funds for your start up, and some funny stuff about life.
Until Next Time,
Mitch @ The ADHD Entrepreneur
